Sudden provocation over money dispute led an educated man to commit a crime in the city on Monday. An MBBS doctor attacked a tea vendor with a surgical blade when he asked about his dues.
The accused has been identified as Ritual Yadav (30), who hails from Etah in Uttar Pradesh and is presently residing in a rented accommodation in south Delhi's Gautam Nagar. He has completed his course from a medical college in Russia.
On Monday morning, he went to a nearby tea vendor, Umashankar (35) and had a cup of tea. Before he left the place, the vendor asked Yadav to clear his dues, that had been pending for over a month. On this, he became angry and had a small argument. Yadav went back to his residence without paying the vendor. After two hours, Yadav returned to the same place in Hauz Khas with his surgical blade and attacked the vendor.
