Hooda stresses on timely and cheap justice for common man

Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda laid stress on timely and less costly justice for the common man and on reducing the number of pending cases in the courts, while speaking on the occasion of inauguration of the District Court Complex and Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre at Palwal on Friday. Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana Court justice S K Kaul and Hooda inaugurated the complex and the centre.
The chief said that Haryana is one of the leading states in terms of having an effective judicial system. The state government has taken all possible measures for increasing the efficiency of the courts and for providing timely justice to the people. For this, sufficient funds have been provided for creating necessary infrastructure . In the past few years, modern judicial complexes have been set up in 19 districts and work on the Mewat complex is in progress.
Hooda said that the Palwal Court complex has been constructed at a cost of Rs 33 crore and has 21 court rooms, as well as a library and other modern facilities. About the Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre, Hooda said that it will help in solving the cases through mutual agreements.
Justice S K Kaul said that the Haryana government has paid special attention on providing necessary facilities in courts. He admired the grand building of the Court Complex, but said that the value of the Complex will be enhanced, if people work here with efficiency and provide
quick justice to the common man.
