Hooda, Pawar inaugarate dairy plant in Dharuhera

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has said that the milk production increase rate will be enhanced from 5 per cent  to 9 per cent in the state. This was stated by Hooda on Wednesday as Chief Guest on the occasion of inauguration of Dudhmotisagar Dairy in Dharuhera. The dairy plant was inaugurated by Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar. The function was presided over by Vipul Bhai Chaudhary, Chairman of Gujrat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation and Mehsana Distt. Copperative Milk Porcucers Union. Badsahpur MLA, Rao Dharampal was also present on this occasion. Hooda urged Dudhmotisagar Dairy to procure at least 10 lakh ltr. of milk daily from the milk producing farmers of the area. This will not only encourage them to produce more milk, but the youth also will get more employement opportunities. The dairy plant has been established by Mehsana District Copperative Milk Porcucers Union Limited. Its processing capacity will be 30 lakh liter per day. This will improve the supply of milk and milk products like Amul milk, Dahi, butter milk and other fresh products for the consumers in Delhi and NCR.
