Hooda calls upon officers to be more sensitive

Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has called upon the officers and officials of state government to become more sensitive towards the human rights of individuals.

Inaugurating the seminar organised by Haryana Human Rights Commission (HHRC) in Gurgaon on Thursday to sensitise revenue officers and officials of the state government, Hooda said that getting a clean, efficient, transparent and honest administration is the fundamental right of the citizens in democracy and negation of it is the negation of their human rights.

Hooda appreciated the efforts being made by the HHRC to create awareness among the officials of revenue department and said that this is an important department of the Government, which deals with people directly. He said, ‘Officials must take care that no wrong entry is made in the records and the work is done in time and with transparency, so that people do not suffer.
