Loosing a wallet with cash and important documents in the middle of the road is a big horror anytime and then imagining to get it back both is not less than any miracle.
Jagpreet Singh a resident of Preet Vihar in Delhi got his car broken down at Nizamuddin on Saturday morning. He started pushing his car but accidently lost his wallet in the process. He realised that only after he returned home.
Jagpreet had shivers as the wallet had around Rs 50,000 worth foreign currency in it along with some important documents and credit cards. As Jagpreet was searching his car for the same, he got a call from a traffic police Madan Singh who said that he has found his wallet and asked him to come over and collect it from him.
Madan Singh saw the wallet lying on the road and one cyclist trying to pick it as his own. The cyclist was confronted by the cop and on getting the visiting card from the wallet Madan called Jagpreet.
“I rushed to the spot and found all items in my wallet along with the money intact. The money was untouched. I salute him for the honesty that he has portrayed,” said Jagpreet.
Jagpreet then clicked the photograph of the traffic cop and posted it on Facebook along with the whole story of Madan Singh’s honesty.
The Facebook post has got over 5,000 likes and around 1,000 comments. The story has also been shared by over 1.5 thousand people.
