Hockey probables’ list pruned down to 33

Hockey India selection committee has decided to prune down the list of core group men’s probables to 33 players during the three-day selection trials which concluded at SAI Centre in Patiala on Sunday.
The selectors will announce the 18-man squad shortly for the Lanco International Super Series in Perth (November 22-25), FIH Champions Trophy in Melbourne (Dec 1-9) and second Asian Men’s Champions Trophy in Doha (Dec 20-27). List of 33 players: Goalkeepers: PR Sreejesh, PT Rao, S Rao; Full backs: VR Raghunath, S Singh, R Singh, H Singh, A Rohidas, S Maylaram; Half backs: S Singh, K Singh, B Lakra, M Singh, MB Aiyappa, P Mor, G Singh, V Dhar; Forwards: SV Sunil, GS Chandi, C Singh, Shivendra, D Mujtaba, SK Uthappa, P Sommanna, N Thimmaiah, Y Walmiki, D Singh, Akashdeep Singh, MG Poonacha, P Singh, PL Thimmanna, Sukhdev Singh, Gurpreet Singh.
