An author, producer/director, Rama Pandey is coming up with an event Kalam Se Camera Tak which is about her journey from how she turned into a producer/director from an author.
Rama brings forward every relevant social issue in each and every form of media. To this end , she has single handedly been able to organise mammoth rallies and youth festivals as a silent.
Rama Pandey’s recent work consists of Aastha Ki Dehleez- Madin Sahib, a film on medieval pre-Mughal Muslim architecture of Kashmir, for Films Division Govt. of India.Begum Bano Aur Khatun, book and multi-episode TV serial depicting a series of real life stories of underprivileged Muslim women who showed enterprise and rose to make a positive contribution to the society and brought prosperity to themselves as well as many others, Tauba-tun-Nusooh, a 13 year-episode TV program based on a highly progressive masterpiece of Urdu literature, a novel of the same name by Nazir Ahmad, for Doordarshan Urdu.
Presently self-employed in the proprietary concern Montage Films, operating from own premises at Gurgaon and Jammu.
On April 3, she will be celebrating her journey from being an author to director/producer through various documentries, book launch and talking about her 40-year-long journey. Kalam Se Camera Tak will showcase each and every important aspect of her life with a celebration of completion of 250 episodes of Jaane apna Desh a series dedicated to India’s rich heritage.
On this occasion Arun Jaitley will address the event along with a panel of eminent personalities like Prasoon Joshi, Shovana Narayan, Uma Sharma, Ila Arun, Sonal Mansingh, Ashok Chakradhar and Piyush Pandey.
