Health minister inspects Old Delhi area with civic officers

He inspected the development and sanitation works being undertaken in the area. Vardhan was accompanied by commissioner of North MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) P K Gupta along with other senior officers of the civic body. The health minister along with the civic officers inspected the area from Turqman Gate to Hauz Qazi in the Old Delhi on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. He also directed the officers of the corporation to clean the area during the festival season.
During the inspection the minister was informed by the locals about poor condition of the community hall. He asked the officers to repair the community hall of the slum department at Fatak Teliyan.
He directed the officials to ensure regular and proper cleanliness of the area along with daily collection of the garbage and it’s proper disposal. Vardhan also inspected the ongoing development works being carried out in the area and directed the officers to expedite the woks on priority basis.
