Haryana govt reshuffles 16 district town planners

In a major reshuffle the Haryana Government has issued transfer and posting orders of 16 District Town Planners (DTPs) with immediate effect.

Anil Dabas, DTP, Headquarters has been posted as DTP (P), Faridabad in place of Amrik Singh who has been transferred as DTP, Sonepat. Dabas was known to be dealing with the complaints against a private realtor for allegedly selling plots around the Northern Peripheral Road (Dwarka Expressway) in Gurgaon without taking a valid licence from the Haryana government’s department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP).

These transfers have come at a time when most of the town planning officers were dealing with problems of land encroachment in the district.

Dhirender Singh, DTP, Sonepat has been posted as DTP, Karnal in place of Hitesh Sharma who goes as DTP-CCP (NCR). Vijender Singh, DTP, Jhajjar has been posted as DTP, Headquarters. Anil Kumar Narwal, DTP, Jind has been posted as DTP, Yamunanagar in place of Deshraj who goes as DTP, Jhajjar.

Dharamvir Singh Khatri, DTP (E), Faridabad has been posted as DTP (Urban Estates). Rajinder T Sharma, DTP (E), Panipat working in the office of STP, Gurgaon has been posted as DTP (E), Faridabad. Sanjay Kumar, DTP (P), Gurgaon has been posted as DTP (E), Gurgaon.

Mohan Singh, DTP, Sirsa has been posted as DTP (P), Gurgaon. Karamvir Jhajjaria, DTP, Hisar has been posted as DTP, Sirsa with additional charge of DTP, Fatehabad. Satish Kumar Punia, DTP, Bhiwani has been posted as DTP, Bhiwani with additional charge of DTP, Hisar. Arvind Dhull, DTP CCP (NCR) and Ashok Kumar Garg, DTP, Panipat will swap their respective places of posting. Satyavir Singh, DTP, Kaithal has been given the additional charge of DTP, Jind.

Experts say that these transfers will further delay the projects that have already crossed their deadlines since July 2015 as their successors will take time to understand the area and its problems.
