Haryana Director General of Police sends out Diwali wishes

Director General of Police, Haryana, S N Vashisht expressed warm wishes and greetings of Dipawali to the people of Haryana and the family members of Haryana Police personals. In his greetings, Vashisht said, that festival is nothing but to serve the mankind and thus we can celebrate our everyday as Eid and every night as Dipawali. He lauded that humans, especially children, and animals are maimed or even blinded every years through an irresponsible and callous use of firework. Bursting crackers is horrifying to the poor in huts, patients in hospitals and animals in streets. Children need extra care and supervision during the lighting of crackers. We must spare a thought for those who cannot afford to be part of the Dipawali festivity. Vashisht made a fervent appeal to the people to avoid highly explosive and smokey fire crackers as they were always harmfull for the human beings and our environment.
