Taking cognisance of media reports that three persons of a private coaching institute had allegedly molested and manhandled a woman teacher, the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has written to the Union Home Minister demanding immediate arrest of the accused.
“The DCW is deeply pained and shocked to see the clipping on all television news channels on March 31 showing forcible taking of pictures through mobile by one... and on resistance, the victim professor being beaten and assaulted,” DCW chairperson Barkha Singh said in her letter. The woman teacher of Chemistry has lodged a complaint with DCW stating that in July 2014, she came to know about some financial irregularities in the institute, following which the centre’s administrator started harassing her.
