Hakim inaugurates booster pumping station

State Urban development Minister Firhad Hakim on Wednesday inaugurated Mohini Chowdhury booster pumping station at Behala. The station has come up at Senpalli and has the capacity to store 30 million gallon of water. This will benefit around 70,000 residents of wards 129, 128 (partial), 130 (partial) and 131 (partial). With the inauguration of pumping station, a long standing demand of the residents of the area has been fulfilled.  It may be recalled that Mayor Sovan Chatterjee, had assured the residents that a scheme had been initiated to meet their demand.
