Guv delegates power to chief secy, admin secys

J&K Governor NN Vohra on Thursday delegated powers to the chief secretary and administrative secretaries to exercise the powers of the Ministers in respect of various administrative matters. “Delegation of powers has been made in pursuance of the J&K delegation of Powers Act, 2016 (Governor’s Act No 1 of 2016),” an official spokesman said. The powers delegated to the chief secretary include according administrative approval to all kinds of projects costing over Rs 7.5 crore up to Rs 20 crore with the concurrence of Planning and Development department and Finance Department.
