‘Govt striving to execute development work in all 895 colonies’

Delhi urban development minister Arvinder Singh on Wednesday reiterated that the city government has been striving hard to undertake developmental works in all 895 colonies that have been recently authorised by the government.
Development work has been executed in more than 800 unauthorised regularised colonies. Moreover, development works have been completed in 475 unauthorised regularised colonies, work is in full swing in 172 colonies and development work had been partially completed in 51 unauthorised colonies till 31 March.
Singh further said that development works is in the tender process in approximately 175 colonies.
‘It is unfortunate that senior leaders of the BJP, despite having experience in public life for many years, are trying to mislead people by making such irresponsible statements,’ said Singh.
