Govt school teacher accused of raping minor

A 22-year-old government school teacher has been arrested for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl after promising to marry her. 'The accused was arrested from his house in the Nangloi area. The arrest was made after the victim's parents approached the police last Friday,' said a police officer.

The victim said the man would call her to his house and initiated a sexual relationship after promising marriage. But later, she was told his marriage has been fixed somewhere else.
