Govt nod to include U’khand, J’khand, C’garh in National Dairy Plan-I

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has given its approval for inclusion of Uttarakhand, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh in the list of states to be covered under the National Dairy Plan- I (NDP-I) and extended the implementation period <g data-gr-id="16">upto</g> 2018-19 in order to achieve key outputs of NDP-I. Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh are newly formed States which are primarily inhabited by tribal population having substantial milch animal population and have the potential for coverage under NDP I.
