Govt approves creation of posts for directors of four new NIDs

The government on Wednesday approved creation of four posts of directors for four new National Institutes of Design (NIDs) at Kurukshetra, Bhopal, Jorhat and Vijayawada.  The decision was taken by the Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

The Cabinet had already approved financial implications, including salaries, for setting up of these new NIDs.
