Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton was slammed by GOP presidential aspirants who also criticised the mainstream media alleging that they act as a lobbying group for the former First Lady who is now eyeing to be the first woman president of the US.
“We can’t afford another four years of that (the Obama Administration). Which is what we’re gonna get if we elect a big government liberal like Hillary Clinton to the White House,” Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio said.In response to a question, the Florida Senator alleged that the mainstream media is acting as a lobbyist for Clinton.
“I’m running for president because there is no way we can elect Clinton to continue the policies of Barack Obama,” he said. “Last week, Clinton went before a committee. She admitted she had sent e-mails to her family saying, ‘Hey, this attack at Benghazi was caused by al-Qaeda-like elements’. She spent over a week telling the families of those victims and the American people that it was because of a video. And yet the mainstream media is going around saying it was the greatest week in Clinton’s campaign,” Rubio said. “It was the week she got exposed as a liar...But she has her super PAC helping her out, the American mainstream media,” Rubio said amidst huge applause from the
audience.
