Goods worth Rs 30 lakh stolen from electronic shop in Punjabi Bagh

Four men decamped with electronic items worth Rs 30 lakh from a showroom in the Punjabi Bagh area in the wee hours of Sunday within a span of mere 30 minutes, police said. 

They added that the culprits were yet to be identified but the entire act was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the shop.

The police said the incident took place between 1 and 2 am when around four thieves barged into an electronic showroom in Punjabi Bagh. They decamped with cellphones, LED television sets and other electronic items from the showroom. The accused loaded the stolen items in a white Santo car parked outside the showroom and fled, police said.

When the showroom’s owner, HN Shrivastava, reached the shop in the morning, he noticed some items missing and informed the police. The footage captured by the CCTV cameras installed in the shop are being examined to identify the thieves, police said.
