Gold Baba’s questions cause Modi flip-flop

The excavation for a treasure in Unnao fort took a political turn when local seer Shobhan Sarkar’s ashram shot off a letter to BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi criticising him for his statement against the seer prompting the Gujarat chief minister to shower praises on the seer.
Modi had earlier said that world is laughing at India after the Centre launched a treasure hunt in the wake of the seer’s dream of gold. The seer wrote a letter to Modi in which the Ashram claimed that the seer’s revelation about hidden gold treasure in Daundiya Kheda village was aimed to making India a super financial power in the world. The letter also raised questions about expenditure made during Modi’s public rallies and NDA’s inability to bring back the enormous funds of black money stashed in Swiss banks by Indians.
