Go Khadi this Independence Day

Among the multifarious celebrations, all KVIC’s ‘Khadi India’ departmental sales outlets and non-departmental sales outlets shall deck up in the colour of Independence Day. Inside the sales outlet, one corner/shelf(s) shall be organized to reflect Independence Day related products like the National flag, pocket flag etc.

The customers shall also have privilege to buy Independence Day series wherein tri-colour soap gift pack, Agarbatti pack and limited range of readymade garments depicting Independence Day essence shall be displayed for sale. Upto 70% discount on clearance sale of Khadi clothes shall be introduced on Independence Day in the flagship ‘Khadi India’ sales outlet at Regal Building, Connaught Place, New Delhi. 

A display board shall be affixed on the exterior wall of Khadi India sales outlet. There will also be prominent display and sale of Khadi National Flag.  

All the customers visiting ‘Khadi India’ sales outlet shall be welcomed with garland (Gundi) made of hand-spun Khadi yarn. Customers buying Khadi and V I products on the Independence Day shall be given complimentary tri-colour gift items. Tri-colour ‘Khadi Rakhi’ in the Departmental Sales Outlets will also be launched on that day. 

In addition to this  all the offices of KVIC  shall celebrate its entrance in tri-colour with Independence Day wishes/ slogans. The  employees of KVIC will be wearing Khadi cloths and shall also display the stickers with the message “I Love Khadi” in English and “Mein Khadi Premi Hoon” in Hindi.

The Khadi Institutions will be requested to celebrate Independence Day on August 15 with decoration on the main entrance. They will also be requested to honour their old spinners and weavers on the Independence day with tri-colour clothes or gifts.
