GMR starts work on Phillipines airport terminal

GMR group in collaboration with <g data-gr-id="9">Megawide</g> Corporation on Monday kick-started expansion and modernisation work of the <g data-gr-id="10">Mectan</g>-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) in <g data-gr-id="8">Philippines</g> by performing ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of Terminal 2 at the airport.
The ceremony was attended by President of Philippines Benigno S Aquino-III besides GMR group chairman G M Rao, chairman of the <g data-gr-id="12">Megawide</g> Corporation Michel <g data-gr-id="13">Cosiquein</g> and Business Chairman Airports of GMR Group Srinivas Bommidala besides other signatories, GMR infrastructure said in a regulatory filing. GMR infrastructure had formed a joint venture with the <g data-gr-id="15">Megawide</g> Construction Corp of Philippines.
