Girl goes missing from IGI, movements captured in CCTV

 A girl reportedly went missing from Delhi’s IGI airport since May 8 in mysterious circumstances. She was supposed to take flight for Dubai where she was going for her higher studies, instead she came out from the airport premises and went away with an unknown person in a car.

Her movements were captured in the CCTV at the airport. Her father is a professor and dean in <g data-gr-id="22">an university</g> in UAE. The girl’s family alleged that an unknown person was tracing their daughter Mariam Mumtaz (18), a resident of Turkman Gate, who has just passed standard <g data-gr-id="21">12 .</g>

“The CCTV footages at airport premises captured that she entered in the airport premises at 2 am from gate number <g data-gr-id="30">5,</g> and was exiting from gate number 7 at about 3.10 pm along with her luggage. It was also seen that one person who was already present outside took her luggage and they both went from there,” said Talat in her FIR.

“The police even failed to disclose the correct number of the suspected car in which my daughter was taken away on May 8. I also provided them with the phone numbers, from which I received calls. Even till date my only daughter has not been traced. <g data-gr-id="26">Meanwhile</g> police filed the case prima facia under the section of 365 <g data-gr-id="25">IPC .</g>
