Ghaziabad authority seals six farm houses, demolishes two colonies

In a drive against encroachments in its area, Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) sealed six farm houses and banquet hall and demolished two illegal colonies.
‘These farm houses, banquet halls and resorts were constructed and operating without the approval of the authority,’ said S K Srivastava, executive officer of the enforcement department of the authority. The sealed premises are – R P Greens, Surya Farms, Vinayak Banquet Hall, Shivam Banquet Hall, Radha Rani Banquet Hall and R L Resort. He further added that all the illegal construction in the GDA area would be demolished.
Besides, the enforcement team demolished a colony in Sadabad in front of S R M University. They also prevented the construction of and illegal colony in Ukhlarsi, which was constructed on the government land without prior sanstion. The illegal constructions in Aslatnagar and Kajampur gate areas were also demolished.
