GGS Indraprastha varsity expecting more than 2 lakh applications

Breaking previous year’s numbers Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has already received 1.55 lakh student applications for various programmes this year. Witnessing this trend, the University is expected to receive more than 2 lakh applications for about 29,000 seats offered by it.

The University had received 1.82 applications in total jointly through online and offline modes last year. The MBBS programme offered by the IP University has also received a huge response. Almost 40,000 applications have been received so far for approximately 250 MBBS seats offered by Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, Hindu Rao Medical College and Army Medical College, which are affiliated to the University. The numbers of applications vary vastly considering there were only 28,000 applications for the MBBS programme last year. The last date for the submission of applications has been declared at 10 April except for B. Arch and MBA-Disaster Management courses.
