Ggn: Rogue driver drags man on bonnet for half-a-km for asking him to drive properly

In a shocking incident, an accident was captured in a CCTV footage in Gurgaon. The recovered footage was dated Tuesday which was received by the police on Thursday. The incident took place when two Honda City cars ran into each other and the drivers got into a spat.

After the argument between the two drivers, both came down to the solution of getting their own cars repaired by themselves. Later, after 10 minutes, one of the drivers saw that the other Honda City driver was still driving rash. In order to ask him to slow down his speed, the driver went and stood in front of the Honda City.

This made the driver furious and he started speeding his car, which led to the other man standing in front of his car hang on to his bonnet. The CCTV footage revealed that this went on till half a kilometre between which the Honda driver also rammed into several two-wheelers and people walking on the street. After this incident, the driver suddenly stopped his car, throwing the man on his bonnet off the car.

The 25-year-old victim is known to be working in a private car company. The victim has filed an FIR against the unknown Honda City driver in the Civil Lines police station. 

The police have registered a case under Sections 308, 337 and 279 of the Indian Penal Code.

“We have recovered a CCTV footage of this incident and are trying to trace that one particular black Honda City out of the number of cars that crossed that area within the span of two hours. 

Investigation is in process and we’ll be able to nab the accused soon,” said Bijender Singh, SHO Civil Lines.
