Ggn Car-Free Day sees 2k vehicles being challaned

As a part of its 14th car free day, a training program for auto drivers was organised at the traffic tower as a step towards improvement and safety in autos at Gurgaon. The main objective of this training program was to educate the auto drivers about safe driving, road safety rules and their behaviour towards customers. The traditional cycle rally was flagged off from Traffic tower led by JCP Saurabh Singh along with auto drivers till Artemis.

After the rally, Saurabh Singh, Joint commissioner of Gurgaon addressed principals of 45 private and government schools.

Around 2,000 vehicles were also challaned for various offences. The city recorded 1,920 vehicles challaned for wrong parking and wrong lane driving with 57 vehicles getting towed.
