Get, set, serve!

Khan Market has always been one of the top places for some great dining experiences, personally however, once Mrs Kaur's shifted base, the sheen paled. There was no overwhelming urge to make that journey across the city to get to that post locality anymore. Till now.

Here's Trolleys, not even a month old and raring to go. One of the latest restaurants right in the heart of Khan Market, Trolleys' USP lies in the fact that they serve their dishes on trolleys like they do on planes. If that doesn't fascinate you, no matter, the restaurant has much more to offer. For starters the gol gappa welcome.

The restaurant serves up quite an impressive range of Indian, Italian and Mediterranean cuisine along with some interesting fresh fruit cocktails. They have constant offers running on beer and some other liquors and seems to be turning into the new hangout hub already. We are suggested that we try the frozen martinis, a group sitting in the terrace have ordered 42 of those already (albeit since 4:30 in the evening and we were there at 9).

While the seating downstairs seems to be a little cramped, we found very little to point out as the food arrived. From then on, ladies and gentlemen, we had no complaints. Trolleys is one of the very few places that serves up some brilliant Indian dishes and well as some great Italian ones.

The Sharabi Kebabi Tikka and the Dal Makhani are to die for. The former is a kebab marinated in a good amount of alcohol, cooked and then when it is served, a shot of vodka is poured over it and the kebabs are set on fire. What remains is a slightly bitter sharp chilly kick that is simply wonderful.
The dal comes as close to the famed Dal Bukhara as is possible and it is not something you want to miss when you are at Trolleys. The Chicken Lahori and the Mutton Nihari were perfectly made as well.

We were skeptical about the Italian, but the perfectly done raviolis left little room for doubt. For dessert we were recommended the Sahi Tukra and the Firni. Perfect hits again.

A meal for two comes to roughly Rs 1400 with a few beers included - not too steep considering Khan Market standards.

Either way - Trolleys is a place you should definitely try. It gets our vote and it won't disappoint you.
