Former India captain Sourav Ganguly feels Australia’s T20 captain George Bailey won’t fit into the first XI of Kings XI Punjab while recommending Virender Sehwag as the captain of the team. ‘Sehwag is the best option to captain Kings XI Punjab and not George Bailey. You have to remember, a captain is the most important factor in a team across all formats. Bailey will struggle to find a place in the Kings XI team given that David Miller, Shaun Marsh, Glen Maxwell and Mitchell Johnson have to play every game. You can’t drop Marsh as he has been their most consistent performer over the years,’ Ganguly said on Wednesday. While CSK didn’t buy Subramanium Ganguly feels Corey Anderson’s bowling will be helpful on Wankhede track. ‘For MI, Corey Anderson has balanced the side. He is an unknown commodity and the Wankhede will support his bowling. Mike Hussey has been bought due to Sachin’s retirement. He is the dark horse of the IPL,’ he said.
