Genius of the Year funny? Not funny?

Some are LOLing on this while others are calling it a brilliant PR manouver while others ask All India Bakchod (AIB) - 'How much are the Bhatts paying you?' This isn't the first video AIB has done with Alia - here's the first- http://bit.ly/1hxT0ot
It all started with that one question - Who's the president of India on Koffee with Karan that was asked to Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia to which Alia had shouted out - ‘Prithviraj Chauhan’. And at that very moment a billion brain cells, across the world, got up and shut themselves off and continued watching the show. Alia came back for the grand finale with Parineeti Chopra and she had learned by then that perhaps keeping her mouth shut was a better idea. But that didn't stop the memes and the trolls.
The irony, for this poor girl, was the fact that she played an IIM graduate in her movie 2 States which, knowing her IQ, became rather farcical also a competitor for the student of the year title in
her first movie.
Now what Alia has done is she has let AIB make the ultimate spoof on herself and the best part is that she is happily a part of it. Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Karan Johar (NRI Emotion Exploiter), Arjun Kappor (Gareebon Ka Wolverine), Parineeti Chopra (The other 'PC') have all played along laughing at themselves while they laugh at her.
Karan says in the video that it isn't fair to expect a girl to be hot and smart and how hot and smart actors are called heroes while Parineeti watches Alia's next stint on the chat show couch and hopes she messes it up.
Face it, you will laugh. Then you will start thinking about all the 'layers' to this video and want to critique it. Don't. Smile at the fact that actors have stepped off their high pedestals and have learned to laugh at themselves and let others laugh at them as well (the video had 125,396 views when we filed this story). For god knows Bollywood needs a good laugh!
