Garbage truck rams into car, three critically injured

Three car occupants were critically injured after a speeding truck of a civic agency rammed into their vehicle here, police said on Sunday. The garbage truck of a city municipal corporation jumped a red light and hit the car Saturday night in central Delhi’s Daryaganj area, police said. The truck driver fled from the spot. The car was dragged a few metres by the truck after the collision, police said. Car driver Farhaan and his friends Waqar and Harsh were injured. Farhaan and Waqar are in a hospital in a critical condition, a police officer said.
