Gangster wanted in a murder case arrested

Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested a criminal who was wanted in a murder case of North-east Delhi’s Nand Nagri area.
He was arrested after a brief encounter in New Ashok Nagar area. One semi-automatic pistol along with one empty and 6 live cartridges and a Bajaj Discover motorcycle have been recovered from the accused.
The accused has been identified as Satyaprakash. On October 9, a dead body was found lying near Kodi Colony Dispensary, Nand Nagri.
During the course of investigation, the deceased was identified as Sonu and the initial investigations had revealed that the culprits behind this murder were Satyaprakash, Khurwesh Pehelwan and Amit.
Subsequently, one of the accused Khurwesh Pehalwan was arrested, who disclosed that he along with Amit, Vinod, Suresh and others had assembled at the residence of their gang-lord Satte.
While they were there, one Amit, an old associate-turned-rival also came there. This resulted in an altercation and soon, Satte and Khurwesh opened multiple rounds of fire at Amit, killing him on the spot.
After the murder, Satte, Khurwesh and their associates had thrown the dead body of Amit in a nearby street in Kodi Colony.
Since then, gangster Satyaprakash had been absconding and when all efforts of various police teams failed to nab him, a reward of Rs 1 Lakh was declared on his arrest.
