Gala Annual Day at Chiranjiv Bharti Sushant Lok

Chiranjiv Bharati School, Shushant Lok celebrated its Annual Day to commemorate another rich and successful year in the education circuit. Called Vritant, the function was presided over by the chief guest, Dr Jitender Nagpal and the guests included Goldy Malhotra, Archana Ansal Luthra and Dr Raj Singh (VC, Ansal University).
The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by all the guests and principal. The students in symphony gave a melodious performance on ‘East meets West’ as a tribute to legendary Late Pt Ravi Shankar.
The tiny tots of the school enthralled everyone by their cute dancing steps on It’s a Beautiful Day and the primary sections mesmerised the audience with their rocking performance in School Chale Hum and Manyuva.
The Chiranjivians spellbound the audience by their energetic, vivacious and graceful movements in a ballet showcasing five elements of life — Panchbhoota. The multi-talented students of the school also presented the play called Hum Bhool Gaye and surprised everybody with their theatrical skills.
Dr Jitender Nagpal, was highly impressed by seeing the students conveying very deep messages to the world outside. In his speech he said: ‘Children these days are very sensitive .We all shall inculcate values in them by taking care of their emotional needs.’
The programme rose to a final crescendo with a grand finale and ended with the school song.
