Four held for running fake tour company

Noida police crime branch has arrested four engineers for running a fake online travel and tour agency to dupe customers. According to police they have so far cheated over a hundred people.  

‘They created a fake webpage on internet and were conducting their entire business online,’ said Bhagwati Singh, superintendent of police (crime). The accused have been identified as Amar Pratap Singh, a resident of Laxmi Nagar in Delhi and Pankaj Tyagi a resident of Noida Phase-I. The two accused are engineering graduates and the mastermind behind the operation. They have launched a fake online travel and tour agency called enjoyyourtrip private ltd. 

The police, acting on the complaint of a Dwarka resident, Vinit Kumar, whom the accused had cheated over Rs 28,000 through online transaction on a false promise of a tour to Kashmir, arrested the gang.

‘I shared my agony on facebook and found that they have cheated over 100 persons, so I decided to complain to the police,’ said Vinit. The rest of the two arrested in the case, Amit, a resident of Delhi and Anoop, a resident of Noida are engineering graduates too.
