Four cases of sexual violence in last 24 hrs at outer Delhi

The first incident was reported from the prominent Vikas Bharti School in Rohini Sector-24, where a woman had alleged that she was molested by the school’s chairman, while she had applied for her daughter’s admission. She has registered a case of molestation against the school chairman identified as Anoop Solanki. 

‘We are investigating the case and cross checking both sides. The woman in her complaint alleged that Solanki called her to his cabin for discussions on the admission procedure for her daughter in nursery class. When she entered the cabin, Solanki began molesting her. She said that when she tried to call the police, her mobile phone was snatched by Solanki. No arrest has been made in the incident’, the police said.

The second incident was reported from Sultanpuri, where a 23-years-old woman registered a case of rape against one of her neighbours. In her complaint, she said that she was repeatedly raped in the last couple of months by the accused. Rajesh used to threaten her with dire consequences, which include threats to her life and parents if she disclosed the matter to the police. Rajesh has also created an MMS and has used it to blackmail her. The accused is absconding and a police team is searching for his whereabouts.

The third incident was reported from Avantika Apartments in Rohini East, where a 30-year-old woman has registered a case of rape against a businessman. In her complaint, it was stated that she knew the accused. The accused raped her on the pretext of marriage. ‘When she asked for marriage, he always pretended by giving false promises. The victim was again raped on Wednesday when she was called by the accused at his office’, the police said. The accused is currently absconding.

The fourth incident was reported from Prashant Vihar, where a woman (23) registered a case of molestation against her neighbor. The victim said that she was often molested by the accused, while she moved out from her house. The accused is on the run and police are on his tail.
