Former KVIC official jailed for taking bribe

A special CBI court today sentenced former Deputy Director of Kendriya Khadi and Gramodyog Ayog Vishunudas Keshav to undergo five years imprisonment in connection with a bribery case.
Designated CBI Judge B K Srivastava awarded the sentence to Keshav, who was caught accepting a bribe of Rs 6,000 on 22 July 2002.
The court also slapped a fine of Rs 8,000 on him.
Following a complaint by an employed of Kendriya Khadi and Gramodyog Ayog, the CBI had caught Keshav while accepting the bribe from Parshuram Mishra.
