Former Cong MLA asks AAP, BJP to form govt

Congress leader and former MLA Mukesh Sharma on Wednesday said that by hosting a ‘Celebration’ at Jantar Mantar, Kejriwal was effectively insulting the voters of Delhi that entrusted him with their precious vote. Sharma also urged AAP and BJP to form a government in order to honour the faith of the people who have voted for them. He said that both parties had contested the elections on the corruption, power tariff and inflation plank and as such were duty bound now to form the government and fulfill the promises they have made in their manifestos. Sharma challenged AAP and BJP to fulfill their electoral promises.

He said that the real reason neither party is willing to stake claim to form the government is because they know that it is impossible to fulfill the promises they had made. Sharma wanted to know why the two parties were unwilling to join hands and form the government, when they had principally contested the election against the Congress.
