Delhi government has decided to improve the condition of the schools by providing necessary facilities such as drinking water, improvement in bathrooms and desks etc. The Minister of Education and Social Welfare, Kiran Walia, on Wednesday said that to ensure clean drinking water to students and teachers, government will install ROs in all the schools with the help of corporate houses.
Officials said, Panasonic company will install 200 ROs in 200 schools at the initial stage free of cost to ensure clean drinking water. The minister said, ‘Wherever desks are required, they will be immediately provided in the schools for facilitating the students. Government will appoint 10,000 guest teachers in all the schools to fill the vacant posts.’
