Focus on institutes for differently-abled: Thawar

The union minister of social justice and empowerment Thawar Chand Gehlot on Wednesday chaired the review meeting of National Institute for persons with disability.

Welcoming the national institutes the minister said that the interaction would be very fruitful, as the department of disability has a pivotal role in empowerment and rehabilitation of person with disability.

The minister stressed on the need to strengthen human resource development, rehabilitation services and R&D programmes of the seven national institutes .
