Flood relief: THDC hands over Rs 36. 91L cheque to Bahuguna

Showing solidarity for Uttarakhand flood victims, R S T Sai, chairman-cum-managing director, THDC India Limited handed over Rs 36, 91,700 cheque to Uttarakhand chief minister Vijay Bahuguna for disaster relief fund on Monday at Secretariat in Dehradun in presence of D V Singh, director (Technical), THDCIL.
The amount has been collected from the employees of the corporation as donation from their one-day salary. On 16, 17 June, Uttarakhand was affected due to heavy rain fall, cloud burst and landslides. Due to this heavy loss of lives and properties occurred. As a responsible stakeholder THDCIL provided humanitarian and financial assistance to the affected people.
