First online railway recruitment exams in progress

For the first time, Railway Recruitment Boards are conducting examinations online to fill up more than 3,000 vacancies of engineers. The all-India examinations for 3,273 vacancies of Senior Section Engineers and Junior Engineers are being held online from August 26 to September 4, railways said in a statement. The application process for the examinations was also conducted online. Around 18 lakh candidates have applied for the vacant posts.
