First NBT- Metro book shop opens at Kashmere Gate Metro Station

The first ever National Book Trust- Delhi Metro book shop was inaugurated by Mangu Singh, managing director, DMRC at Kashmere Gate Metro Station on Friday in the presence of A Sethumadhavan, chairman, National Book Trust and MA Sikandar, director, National Book Trust.
<span style="border-bottom: 1px solid #0000FF !important;text-decoration:underline !important;color:#0000FF !important">The National Book Trust, India and <span style="border-bottom: 1px solid #0000FF !important;text-decoration:underline !important;color:#0000FF !important">Delhi Metro joined hands in this venture to promote books and encourage reading habits amongst the people. As part of this initiative, <span style="border-bottom: 1px solid #0000FF !important;text-decoration:underline !important;color:#0000FF !important">the NBT will open special book shops at important Metro Stations for the benefit of students and other commuters towards encouraging them to buy and read books. The Trust hopes that this initiative will encourage people to read books while traveling, especially during the ‘non-peak’ hours.
Further a NBT officials said, ‘15 % discount will be given on purchase of books for all metro card holders and Commuters can become lifetime Book club member by paying Rs 100 and avail 20 % discount on purchase of books .’ Online sale of NBT publications is also available at nbtindia.gov.in.v
