Fire in Indirapuram flat, many cars gutted

A ?massive ?fire broke out in the basement of an apartment building at Indirapuram in Ghaziabad on Friday afternoon. The fire ?gutted down six cars and damaged several others. It was so intense that 16 fire tenders had to struggle over six hours to douse the fire.  ?‘These is no casualty but property worth crores of rupees was gutted in the fire. We are yet to determine the exact loss,’ said senior fire officer AP Singh. According to police, they received a call at 1 pm that there was a fire at the basement of tower number 2 of ATS residential society in Niti Khand area of Indirapuram. They? immediately rushed to spot. Fire brigade tenders from Noida, Sahibabad and Ghaziabad were rushed to the spot to control the fire, fire officials said.??Heavy smoke filled the area as the blaze spread in apartment premises. Singh said prima facie it appeared that an electrical short circuit could have caused the fire.
