Fire in Dwarka, no casualties reported

Ten fire tenders had to be deployed to douse a major fire at a house in Dwarka Sector 7 in Delhi, on Tuesday evening. No casualties were reported in the incident.
‘A call was received around 6 pm about fire behind the premises of a house at sector 7 in Dwarka. When officials reached the spot, they realised that it was a major fire and called for more fire trucks,’ said a fire official. He further said the fire was finally controlled at around 8 pm after which a cooling operation was launched.
‘It was an open area where around a dozen paint barrels were stacked. That is where the fire originated from,’ said a fire official. He further said, ‘but what caused the fire shall only be clear after further investigations.’
