Fire at Times of India building in ITO

A minor fire broke out at the Times of India building in Central Delhi’s ITO area on Wednesday. According to the fire department officials, 21 fire tenders were sent to douse the flames. At around 2 pm, fire broke out on the fourth floor of the building. It took around two and a half hours to douse the flames No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident, said a senior fire department official.
Meanwhile, fire officials said that they had initially dispatched six fire tenders when they were informed about smoke emanating from the building. Later, more fire tenders were pressed into service as it turned out to be a big blaze.
