FIR against builder for digging on authority’s land

Police on Saturday registered an FIR against a private builder and arrested eight person for allegedly constructing a building on Noida authority’s land.
It said that penal action was initiated after a complaint was lodged by authority. When police reached the spot, it found construction going on in full swing on the disputed land. Meanwhile the managing director of the real estate firm, against whom the case has been registered, is still at large.
According to police, complaint was received by Noida Authority that Pratham Builders is involved in digging activity on authority’s land in Sector 121 for its upcoming project Pratham Heights. Police claimed that during initial investigation, wrong doing of builder was unearthed.
