TTF launches summer edition of travel and tourism fair
TTF – India's largest travel trade show has organised its first ever ' TTF Summer Kolkata' from February 22 – February 24, 2019, at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra, Netaji Indoor Stadium Complex.
Focussing on the 'summer holidays travel season', the event was inaugurated by Isra Stapanaseth, Director, Tourism Authority of Thailand, New Delhi, and Sweeya Santipitaks, Consul-General, Royal Thai Consulate-General in the presence of Sanjiv Agarwal, Chairman and CEO, Fairfest Media. And, the winners of India's Top 100 Travel Producers Award 2019 from Kolkata were also felicitated at the ceremony.
TTF is a household name in the City of Joy before the Puja holiday season arrives. The fair is visited by thousands of travel enthusiasts and companies with equal zeal. TTF Summer edition is more consumer-centric, with all three days open for public. It is aimed at catering to the summer holiday travel market.
This edition is witnessing Thailand as the 'feature country' and Himachal Pradesh as the 'feature state'. Also, Bhutan, Nepal and the United Kingdom are being represented at the show by Destination Management Companies (DMCs), travel operators and hotel brands. The Indian states and union territories joining the show include Andaman and Nicobar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.
The event associates for the three-day long event in Kolkata include MakeMyTrip as the Holiday Partner, Cox, and Kings as the Knowledge Partner and AirAsia as the Partner airline.
Featured exhibitors at TTF Summer are Swiss Tours, SOTC, Lemon Tree, Zenith Holidays, Club7 holidays, Thomas Cook, Vayu Seva, Voyagers Club Tours, Fly High India, Vivada Cruises, SDD Hotels and Resorts, Trip To Temples, Humro Home, Home Away Tours and Treks, My Choize, La Macaw Resort. Many other any travel agents and tour operators, hotels, resorts, theme parks, destinations, airlines, transport, and travel service providers are participating in the show.
The event is supported by Incredible India, Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI), Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA), Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI), Eastern Himalayas Travel and Tour Operators' Association (EHTTOA), Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI), Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI), to name a few. As the focus of TTF Summer is on consumer travel, tens of thousands of our long-standing visitors in Kolkata have been personally invited.
The TTF branded regional shows are held in eight of India's largest cities, with the aim of providing an opening into lucrative regional markets. It is India's largest travel trade show network. TTF Kolkata, a couple of months ahead of Puja holidays, was started in 1989 and has been growing since then.
