Speaking on the journey of last 13 years, Bikash De Niyogi, Managing Director and Publisher, Niyogi Books said, "I am a workaholic. For me the more, the merrier. Now that the Indian publishing
scenario is vibrating with multifarious activities, I would like to be a part of this larger scenario. The diversification is a conscious decision to uphold the vision of Niyogi Books that promote 'fine publishing within reach'. Hence, this is an attempt to go beyond just illustrated books and publish new imprints of fiction, translation and non-fictional prose."
Speaking on the future endeavours, Dr Nirmal Kanti Bhattacharjee, Director, Niyogi Books says "Niyogi Books has a global presence in the large format space and has been recognised for its high-end productions, illustrated with stunning visuals and well-researched content. But in our bid to diversify, we are now reaching out to a larger audience and therefore launching three imprints. But the biggest surprise we
wish to share this evening is that we are also going to soon produce Hindi translations of some of our best-illustrated books".
Along with the imprints, the event also witnessed the book launch of 'P C Sorcar: The Maharaja of Magic', in the presence of PC Sorcar Jr. The biography of one of the greatest magician of the 20th century, PC Sorcar, has been written by his son.
