Extending help

12 students of Class XI along with three officials of South Point High School visited the Bulbul-hit Rangabelia village for distributing blankets, saris and tarpaulin sheets among 400 families on December 11, 2019. Apart from distributing basic 'daily use' things, the students also had a first-hand experience of listening to the sufferings of people of that area. Bulbul, the cyclonic storm, had hit the Sunderbans recently and Rangabelia was among worst-affected areas of the tragedy. The initiative by the School was supported by Bharat Sevashram Sangha in identifying the villagers and the modalities.
