EXHIBITING MEXICAN TRADITION

India International Centre (IIC) in collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico will be organising an exhibition of the Mexican Master Engraver – Joel Rendón. To be inaugurated on June 25, at 6:30 pm, the art show will go on until July 2, at Annexe Art Gallery, IIC. The work of Rendón combines the long standing Mexican tradition of relief print, contemporary techniques and motives linked to the cultural heritage of the country. Considered one of the most outstanding engravers in Mexico, the artist has devoted his life to generate a movement to revalue engraving in Mexico and abroad.
